A parish is a community of faith, of action and of hope. It is where the gospel is proclaimed and celebrated, where believers are formed and sent to renew the earth. The parish is the place where a person first experiences a community of faith and where one is formed and sustained in the faith. It is where people work and pray with one another to deepen their individual and communal holiness.
All parishioners are encouraged to become active in the life of the parish community. There are many parish committees and many activities and all depend on volunteers to function.
Please call the Rectory to learn more about them and offer your talents and assistance. You will meet new people and discover there are hundreds of dedicated people who perform large and small tasks at St. Joe’s and make it the special community it is today!
